Joe Miceli, a Temple University Hospital patient diagnosed with lupus, was featured as an “Everyday Hero” in the Philadelphia Inquirer. In 1987, Joe completed a roundtrip bike ride from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh to raise money for lupus research at TUH.
